Mavis Oldoro

Mavis Oldoro is a rich merchant from the central provinces. He may not be born into an aristocratic family, but nevertheless, he has many ties to important people of the empire due to his successful enterprise. He owns a plentitude of minor businesses and has shares in the empire's biggest oversea trading company. A dozen years ago, Mavis commissioned the construction of a grand villa near the town of Lumairen. This spectacle of a house was dubbed Silver Lake Mansion. Mavis chose the spot due to Meydia's reputation of being one of the most peaceful provinces in the empire; that, combined with the beauty of Lumairen lake. Unfortunately, the merchant doesn't get along too well with the people of Lumairen. Mavis and some of his servants look down upon the townsfolk, which already caused minor tensions. The conflict exploded when Mavis purchased the Cloud Orb, resulting in Hostilities between Lumairen and Silver Lake Mansion.
Mavis Oldoro is a bit of a smug bastard, being a high-class noble and all. He looks down on those of lower standing. Regardless, he is still a successful merchant, and according to that mindset, he does not act openly dismissive towards those he views as lesser than him, knowing that they can be of use to him. Mavis is a very wealth-focused person, he's a man of coin. His greed blinds him to the morality of most things, although he believes it is more beneficial to treat his workforce relatively well such that they don't waste time causing problems. Besides his lust for wealth, he also really enjoys lavish spending, always aiming to impress his associates.
Mavis does not wear a specific style of clothing, apart from the fact that what he wears is always very valuable. Additionally, he tends to wear multiple rings with impressive gems placed into them. He also usually wears a golden ring on his head, a custom for high-standing Argonian merchants. Mavis is not very tall and has a plump physique. He has a well-trimmed beard and mustache. He has short curly hair, dark green eyes, and lightly tanned skin.
At the start of the campaign, Mavis will not be in the province, however, he is traveling to Meydia. As such, he will be arriving at his mansion later on in the campaign. He is secretly part of a hidden society that can almost be seen as a cult. This society, known as the Admirers the Seventeen Statues, operates in the shadows with the intent of accumelating as much power in the empire as possible. Doing so through connecting people of importance as well as performing taboo experiments in order to strengthen their military power.
Mavis is secretly a member of the Cirlce of the Seventeen and uses his wealth to support some of the circle's enhancement experiments.
