Hostilities between Lumairen and Silver Lake Mansion
When Silver Lake Mansion was build 18 years ago next to Lumairen lake, the villagers of Lumairen were doubtful that the arrival of some big shot merchant from the center of the empire would bring good tidings to the region. Although the merchant, Mavis Oldoro, did bring some fortune to Meydia, such as better roads and a handful of additional jobs, the people of Lumairen were right to be hesitant of his arrival. At first, hostilities were very minor, mainly complaints from the townsfolk about the merchant and some of his staff looking down at them and being demanding. It did also not sit well with the Lumairens when Oldoro started to refer to the lake as Silver Lake, something he did to sound more impressive to his acquaintances. This changed, however, when Oldoro pushed the previous mayor of Lumairen to sell him The Cloud Orb. To the people of Lumairen, this was a precious artifact that was bestowed upon them by the nymph goddess Hylia, so it was unthinkable that it would have been taken away from them just to be displayed in the house of a rich aristocrat. Due to this incident, most Lumairens harbor a deep hatred for Mavis Oldoro and those who associate with him. The matter becomes more complicated when it comes to the townsfolk who work at the mansion. Although none of them like the merchant, they are forced to put up with him and his company due to their job. Because not all of them are able to just quit and find another place to work, some of the mansion employees find themselves harassed by the more spiteful residents of Lumairen.
