Lumairen

Lumairen is a fishing town in the south of Meydia. It is located on lake Lumairen, surrounded by forest to the north. The town is said to have originally been built along a set of ruins, however, with the rising of Lumairen Lake throughout the centuries, these ruins have long since sunken beneath the water. Nowadays the town focuses mainly on fishing, exporting harvests to the rest of the province. Due to the big fishery in the middle of Lumairen, the air is always filled with strong sent of drying fish. The people worship a goddess called Hylia the Lake-Bound, who is believed to dictate the harvests from the lake. Close to the town lays Silver Lake Mansion, the home of a wealthy merchant from the empire's central provinces. The town is run by a man named Lupis Arbor, a grumpy, weathered fisherman. Lupis dislikes the owner of the nearby mansion because he pressured the previous mayor into selling The Cloud Orb; a treasure that is considered a holy artifact to Lumairen
