Magister's Ridge
Purpose / Function
The purpose of the palace is to serve as not only the steading of the Royal Family of Genos, but also to serve as a council chambers for the Lords of the city and as a central location to use the Mythil of Paxpike from.
Alterations
While originally built as only one spire the palace has since added significant grounds to the central structure including gardens, gatehouses, and several shorter halls and rooms.
Architecture
The architecture of the palace is only describable as distinctly Genosian. Elven woodworking adorns the beams holding the dragon-blown glass chandeliers while dwarven gilding covers the mantles decorated with the heads of legendary beasts from many an orc hunt. The majority of the palace is done in stone though several interior rooms are done largely in wood instead.
Defenses
History
This site once served as the Mage Spire of Hachepe, shortly after the Peace of Paxpike was negotiated. Here is where he used his powerful arts to shape the city into a beacon of unity and hope. After his reign the first of the elected kings took the throne and each sought to add to the lonely tower of Hachepe until eventually the palace represented the finest artistry in the whole of Yootopia if not the entirety of the Land of Five Seas. The main tower was damaged during a troll attack and the stones that were a part of that tower now are a part of the Temple of Hachepe not too far from the palace.
