The Ken Proliferation - Ep VI (3/08/19)

The party made their way to the Cairo Space Elevator Station and met with an individual in a brown trench coat; the smuggler. Discretely, the man gave the party a rundown on the process, and handed each person their fake ID's, their tickets, and modified holo-masks designed to be undetectable going through TSA. He informed everyone that they would have to exit the elevators at the checkpoint with space suits to avoid the mid journey scans. While still outside of the station, Nādālīs heard a voice crying out from a man's briefcase. Myron Van Waltz recognized the man as Hank Clemont; a scientist who had been let go from Adonis Genetics and had his degree revoked from Armstrong University for his highly controversial studies on genetic modification and nano-technologies. Vizion was taken aback by the uncanny resemblance the man shared with his Maestro back in the frozen wastes of America, and attempted to chase the man down, but lost him in the busy crowd.

The party made it through elevator security without a hitch using their fake ID's and holo-masks. Before the personnel elevators embarked, the crew needed to obtain some space suits that had been smuggled into the cargo elevator. Clark & Vizion sneaked into the loading room, located the suits, threw them into a bag. Clark created a quick distraction to allow Vizion to slip out undetected. On their way to their seats in Elevator 3, they spotted Hank boarding Elevator 1, but decided to hold off on trying to pursue.

The ride up through the different layers of the frozen Earth's atmospheres was spectacular. While nearing the mid-journey checkpoint, the party equipped their spacesuits in the restrooms and slipped out of the elevator once it came to a halt. Slipping into the near-vacuum of the elevator's service access tunnels, the party avoided the automated scans and the maintenance workers, then returned to their seats. The flight attendants were inquisitive about why the members of the group were breaking the rules; exiting their seats and why they had space suits on. But in a curious turn of events, following an intense glare from Nādālīs, the attendants seemed to forget all about the transgressions. The rest of the journey seemingly went on without a hitch.

The group arrived on Luna, exited the elevator, and during baggage claim saw Hank Clemont again. Vizion bolted off after the man and followed him into the crowd of OPA protesters outside the station. Vizion tackled the man (starting a riot in the process) and Clark helped restrain him.

Not necessarily thinking they would make it this far, the group discussed their current options. An OPA protester approached Vizion to tell him to go to Bruce's Hideaway if he wanted some work, but the group decided they would journey to The Van Waltz Family's manner instead.
