The Ken Proliferation - Ep V (2/22/19)
At Anubis' apartment during the night, Casey Mcgregor recieved a text message from Pim Castle. Pim informed Casey that he had won the high-stakes tournament bracket and is en-route to Phobos for the second leg of the tournament. He apologized for having to leave, but tipped off his fighter about a bar in Cairo called The Poppy, and a man who works there named Yegor Vidak who could potentially offer some help.
John drove Casey Mcgregor to The Poppy and dropped him off, then went to a body shop to repaint his candy red truck. After discovering the entrance to the secret pub and gaining entry, he eventually met with the Russian, Vidak, who turned out to be an illicit arms dealer.
John returned in his now matte black semi tractor, and Casey gave the group the lowdown. Clark Porter decided to go meet with the arms dealer and ended up buying a large crate of military grade weaponry and lethal ammunition. During this time, Anubis spoke with his contact about smuggling the party through the space elevator and onto Luna. Unfortunately, word had traveled of the illicit activities the group had performed in Mexico City, which meant the rate for getting them off-world was gonna be too expensive.
The party regrouped to try and find a solution to their credit shortage, and decided to perform a small heist on a flier dealership. With Clark Porter distracting the salesman, Nādālīs was able to sneak into the office, hack the vault open and steal $90,000 worth of credits, then sneak back out undetected.
The party rendezvoused at Anubis' apartment and called the smuggler again, telling him that they had the money to be smuggled, with the additional fee due to their wanted status. The smuggler informed them to be ready at the elevator station the next morning.
