The Rejuvinator's Workshop

The Rejuvinator's Workshop is a blacksmith shop/establishment in Daggerveil. This shop is owned and run by blacksmith extraordinaire, Kognec Bittermace. This Dwarven blacksmith is a very famous man. The quality of his weapons and armor are very highly regarded. It is said that he can repair even the worst armor and weapons, and create masterpieces out of them, hence why his nickname is "The Rejuvenator." He owns a large store in Daggerveil, where he sells, repairs, and creates exquisite pieces of weaponry, armor, and tools. One thing he does not work with often, however, is firearms, but he is said to know a blacksmith/engineer that deals solely on firearms. He does know enough to tinker with them, but he isn't specialized in them.
Kognec is an older dwarf, getting towards the end of his life, but still has a lot of fight. He works day and night, and whatever he cannot do himself, he hires people to do it for him. He is very strong-willed, but often likes to take rests and drink whenever he isn't working. He isn't interested in dealing with the poor, and definitely not interested in drunken people in his shop, but when he hits the bars with his buddies, he doesn't mind.
As of this moment, Kognec is dealing with issues surrounding the Daggerveil soldiers not allowing his workers to go out and mine, causing his business to hurt as he is lacking resources. He has been fighting the government system of Daggerveil for a while now, but has gained no headway. The issue is the mandatory curfew and exit/entrance restrictions due to the constant barrages of goblins, not only is the threat rumored, it is very real for the city.

Purpose / Function

This is the blacksmith shop of the world famous blacksmith, the Rejuvinator. This shop is here for him to get business, as Daggerveil is one of the biggest cities in Terra Firma. He is very good at crafting weapons and armor, as well as modifying and fixing them.

Design

The outside of the building seems a lot smaller than the building actually is. When you enter the store, the main room has armor and weapons on display, and on the far end of the room is the front desk area, where Kognec takes care of his customers. In the back room is all of his equipment, his smelters, his anvils, etc., and in another room is his office, which doubles as an ore storage room. The building certainly seems a lot bigger on the inside.

Entries

There is an entry from the front that leads into the store room, and there is also a back entrance that leads into the alleyway behind the building. This door is in Kognec's office.

Sensory & Appearance

The temperature of this building is significantly hotter than outside, which, at wintertime, is nice, but during the summer, it is unappealing. The smell of the interior is coal and burning metal. Things that not many are used to, but Kognec lives in this smell. The entire appearance of the store is very nice and professional, although Kognec manages to get dirty frequently, but that does come with the job.

Denizens

Kognec Bittermace is the owner, and often customers of all sorts find their way in there. Some officials find their way in there as well. Often, Kognec invites his fellow blacksmiths over, blacksmiths like Aqualis Boulderbrew and Taldek Breitheim.

Contents & Furnishings

There are a few seats, mainly stools, since this is a store, he doesn't keep it very furnished. However, there are many tables and displays in the main room so he can put his wares on display. In the back room, it isn't very furnished. There is a really nice chair so Kognec can sit while doing his work, but his office is really the main attraction when it comes to furnishing. His office is where all the business happens. It is very well furnished and very comforting to be in. There are many seats and artwork, as this is his professional area.

Valuables

There are a lot of weapons and armors in the building, as well as a lot of ores. In the office, there are many different valuables, as well as a safe that Kognec keeps his rare goods and coins in. There are lots of artwork and statues in his office as well.

There is no real special properties of his building. There is running water, but that is standard.

As the years passed and Kognec got more famous and wealthy, more additions were made to increase the size and complexity of his shop.

Architecture

The shop is made of crafted stone with some iron thrown in there. The walls have some ore in them, just to add to the feel of the blacksmith shop. It started as a wood building, but over the years, Kognec made it look more refined and professional.

History

Since he was born, Kognec was always a worker and a fighter. He has spent the entirety of his life working and becoming an amazing blacksmith. Over the years, he has only had more and more good reviews becoming the world's most famous and sought after blacksmith. With this title, his reputation got better and better, so he figured, so should his store.
