The Bards and the Bees
The Bards and the Bees is a brothel located in Daggerveil's "Fun" District. This establishment gets many visitors, and also many violations of the law, but that's never stopped them. For a fee, someone could get a nice dinner and a dance with a female of their choice, and depending on the price, could lay with them as well (the dinner is mostly for show, the main goal is to sleep with the whores in the brothel). Many husbands have been dragged from the premises by their wives, often swooning over the beautiful women that parade themselves there. In the front, the building looks inconspicous, not immediately showing what goes on, and the main atrium and stage are also not immediately abhorrent, but when you get to the backrooms, there are many nude women, often performing sexual acts on men, and sometimes women, in little rooms, and sometimes even out in the open.
This place has a big reputation for being incredibly sleazy, being run by a female surprisingly, who takes really good care of her whores. They often hire bards to play in the ballroom/dining area, hence why it is called the Bards and the Bees. There are guards in the front hired by the shop to stop minors from entering.
Not many people have met the owner of the business, as she tends to stay hidden due to the illegal nature of the shop (the brothel is illegal, Terra Ultima saying that whorehouses are illegal to run, but the woman in charge was able to come to terms with Chumror and the Daggerveil Government. Allowing her to run it under the radar. The secret exports and imports of drugs and such are the highly illegal part). It is said that the brothel slips money to Castle Daggerveil for them to not report the brothel to Emeraldia, the government center of the world, located in Terra Ultima.
The brothel's owner is said to be a female mythric. An angel of sorts that is said to also be a siren. Again, not many people have actually met her, so that may not be entirely true, but it is said that she is an angel that came to Terra Firma to watch mortals copulate, something that was supposedly forbidden among angels. Her name being Aquinna Lavina.
Purpose / Function
The purpose of this establishment is to give men the chance to lust over beautiful women, and to pay to lay with them. There is also a secret drug ring based around the brothel. It is rumored that there is also a sex slave ring that works with this establishment also.
Design
The exterior of the building doesn't look any different than the rest of the buildings in Daggerveil. It looks identical to the old theater that was there prior to the creation of the brothel. The interior large room has a large stage, with quartz pillars holding up the ceiling, this being a kept feature from the theater. There is a large curtain that drapes over the stage also. There are multiple rooms, the main room in front of the stage has tables and seats for people to talk and enjoy. There is a kitchen, where meals are crafted, a secret VIP room, which is basically a glorified strip club, there is a basement, where the whores live and sleep, and there are rooms in the back, where many different well furnished rooms are where people can sleep with the whores, having them preform various sexual acts on them. There is also said to be a large office where Aquinna works and lives. It is said in the office, she has a view into every room, and can hear everything going on, all the moaning and such.

It is only known that there are two entrances, an emergency exit behind the stage, and the entrance to the whole brothel.

The main room is very nice looking, and often smells of food and alcohol, as people enjoy themselves. The back rooms is where it changes quickly. Often smelling sweaty and full of hormones. The sounds of moaning and various sex noises filling the rooms. It is a brothel after all.

Aquinna works and lives exclusively in the building, and all the whores live in the basement, but many different people, men (and women) of all different races come through to pay for sex and food/drink.

There are beds and different living required contents in the basement where the whores live. In the strip club room, there are leather booths, where men can gawk at the center stage with a strippers pole. There are also many different well furnished rooms with beds and couches where the sex happens.

There is said to be many different valuables coming through this establishment. Often money and women, but there are rumors of a drug import/export ring that go through this brothel. This is definitely a very wealthy building.

Alterations
Over the years, the brothel would get bigger and bigger. Starting as an abandoned theater, there were rooms and a basement added years after it was bought out. Many alterations occurred to make it bigger.
Architecture
The building is made of solid wood, really tall and inconspicuous. The inside is significantly larger than it looks from the outside. The main room has pillars of quartz lining the main stage, this came from the theater that came before. The inside is pretty typical of another other building in Daggerveil, kind of dark on the inside, with no real windows except for a few that are often covered, and it is made of solid wood, creating a sturdy building.
History
The Bards and the Bees started many decades ago after having the abandoned theater in Daggerveil be bought by Aquinna. It is said that the theater had been abandoned since 2850 EM, and was sitting there in ruin until around 3000 EM, when Aquinna is said to have purchased it and revamped it. The exact history isn't known, but this is what the rumors say.
