Cola Kushola

This dapper Lalafell gentleman stands with poise and grace, his extravagent walking stick taller than himself. He wears a vest and tie over his button-down shirt. He has longish, bushy, brown hair, styled to perfection, and a fine pair of glasses to complete the look. He keeps his sleeves raised, revealing a Black Kraken Arbiter's Mark on his left forearm.

Cola Kushola is the current leader of the Krakonia National Institution of Intelligence(KNII) , and is therefore a high-ranking official of The Scouts Guild of Krakonia(SGK) . It's his responsibility to manage the information that his scouts deliver to the KNII, meaning, officially, most of his day is spent reading documents and ordering scouts to fetch him more documents. It's little secret that a man of his position and stature isn't actually spending all day doing clerical work, of course. The man's in charge of monitoring all the data relevant to the citizens in his country. While he doesn't outright say he's spying on people, his general demeanor and history imply otherwise.

Kushola first appeared in Requerm as part of The Effects of the Dawn in the midst of The Unification Wars , alongside his trusted companion, Haldbhar Denkyrdhemsyn . The two of them were, apparently, immediately captured by an enemy faction looking to bolster their ranks before they could even figure out what had happened to them, but once they did, they managed to escape rather quickly. Shortly after their escape, all the other captured civilians managed to escape as well. Shortly after that, they became allied with Kah'Rael Warenza , and shortly after THAT, they happened to become two of the scouts working for the Krakonian Military, the enemy of the faction that had captured him. This suspiciously quick series of events is one of the reasons why people suspect Warenza was more involved than was ever made official during the Unification Wars, but Kushola denies her involvement to this day, despite now being ranked directly below her in the SGK. Obviously she simply saw the merit of his work speaking for itself.

After the war ended, and The Guilds of Krakonia formed, Kushola earned the position as leader of the KNII, as recommended by Warenza herself. Many found it suspicious that a highly trained and ranked scout would be delegated to desk work all day, which was the first of several suspicions that led to people doubting the legitimacy of the KNII, but hey, if former Harbinger of the Rising Dawn Kah'Rael Warenza vouches for the program, and his involvement in said program, who are they to argue? It didn't take long for people to accept the necessity of the KNII, questionable origins aside. It helps that Kushola is a generally pleasant man to speak to and work with, and is intelligent enough to understand many complicated subjects with ease.
