Kah'Rael Warenza

This short, white-haired khajiit wears simple adventuring gear, although she also has enough jewelry on her to suggest she has some level of nobility about her. She often has a blank look on her face, even when speaking, making it difficult to discern her true intentions. Those who know her more closely would be aware of her Arbiter's Mark , the Black Kraken, located on her right wrist, beneath the leather gauntlet she wears. Due to her long history in Krakonia, one can assume she is older than she looks, but since no one knows her actual age, they can only guess about how accurate this statement is.

Kah'Rael Warenza is the Leader of The Scouts Guild of Krakonia(SGK) , and King Daerius Quintus's economic advisor, paying close attention to The Kingdom of Krakonia's coffers, and making sure the king does not spend too much on his many superfluous charities. She is a mostly silent type, typically only speaking when spoken to, and even though she has a storied history dating back decades as one of Quintus's most trusted allies, not much is actually known about her specific talents, only that she was an adventurer before becoming an advisor. This has led to many believing her true contributions to Krakonia may be much deeper than her official titles may suggest, but if there's any proof of such potentially illicit activities, it's been hidden quite carefully.

Warenza was among the first adventurers to appear after The Dawn , quickly joining the legendary Harbingers of the Rising Dawn . She was known during this time to play the role of the scout, taking her time to stealthily search suspicious areas and report back so that the rest of the party would not stumble into any traps, ambushes, or other disastrous circumstances. In combat she was mostly melee support, using her quick movements to cause her enemies to fumble long enough for her stronger allies to finish the job.

After the founding of Krakonia City and the declaration of The Unification Wars , Warenza seemed to disappear almost completely, only occasionally being spotted giving economic advice to Daerius Quintus or combat advice to soldiers in the military. This seemed somewhat suspicious to the more keen observers of the war effort, who had seen far more tangible efforts from every other member of Quintus's inner circle. While nothing could ever be proven, it did not stop rumors from spreading that Warenza was somehow infiltrating the enemy, either by herself or with an elite group of scouts. There were simply too many coincidences during the wars, including ill-timed coups, sudden disappearances of supplies and high-ranking officials, unexplained fires just before battles, among other suspiciously timed disasters among the enemy at any given time. It also seemed strange that Krakonia always seemed to have the best intel among those involved in the war, including many strategies that could only be pulled off with knowledge from the inside. Overall, Warenza's history as an adventuring scout, and her unexplained absence during a majority of the war effort, led many to believe she was the most likely candidate behind these "coincidences."

After Krakonia declared victory during the Unification Wars and became the Kingdom of Krakonia, Warenza founded the Scouts Guild of Krakonia, bringing in many of the scouts used for reconnaissance during the war to be the foundation of the order. The intention behind the guild is to use its resources to search the vastly unexplored land of Requerm for anything that could be useful to Krakonia. The guild pays adventurers that return with new information about the land based on the quality of the adventuring logs and confirmable accuracy of the information.

Kah'Rael Warenza is a somewhat difficult person to find, but she is known to be punctual. If one were to make an appointment with her assistant in the SGK, she would almost definitely make an appearance, although making an appointment in the first place can prove difficult, as she values her time and will only use it to speak with those she deems worth it. She also can sometimes be found roaming The Heart of the Kraken , likely with Daerius Quintus, acting as his advisor or reminiscing about old times.
