Pellastradons

While the original inhabitants of The Twin Horns are lost to history, the Pellastradons of Pellastrom-Mar are a powerful group of warriors that strike fear in both their enemies and friends with their brutish appearance and their diplomatic cunning.

While they possess the barbarian customs found on the Fringe Worlds of the Outer Kohyls. The Macestidons are able to trace their lineage to Aeonia through a set of Aeonite brothers expelled from the who then founded the first line of Hellecian "Rexitaurs" or man-chiefs of the Bull's Head along the Northern Hemisphere of the Hands of Pontus.

Reluctantly, the Delothian Collective gave the Pellastradons citizenship within the Patrokonoi-Hellecia and injected them with their Aeonite sponsor's Ichor.

Physiology:

The Pellastradons are massive creatures who tower a head-and-a-half over their Hellecian blood-cousins. Their CHONPS Spectra Elements are primarily Nitrogen, which allows them to transform into whatever creatures they consume. And after their infusion of Ichor, they can simply touch a creature's hide to become it.

Another added benefit of their Ichor infusion is their combustible blood that allowed the Macestidons to outlast the other competing tribes of their homeworld Pellastrom-Mar when it was knocked out of their orbit and turned into a frozen ice ball.

Their thin tails and powerful leg muscles indicated the Macestidons weren't originally from Pellastrom-Mar. Evidence shows they adapted from a warm climate to the more temperate climate on Pellastrom-Mar over time.

Before/After Karoj-Menos:

While their pre-Aeonite genealogy has been lost to time, the Macestidons' oral tradition places their origins at the dawn of the universe as children of the Progomenoi - the first organic beings in the universe who spawned from the planets created by the Primordials (real-world equivalents being the Minoans of Crete).

The prevailing theory is the Macestidons are the last survivors of the great Knossoi collapse from the Eceterian Axe-head cluster. How they were able to reach Pellastrom-Mar without a ship and no connection to the Pantheon is still a mystery.

Their isolation came to an end when their progenitor Pellicander and his brothers landed on what would be called Pellastrom-Mar. They were exiles from Olympus after refusing to kneel before Hephaestus after insulting their mother Aeonia.

Pellicander rose above his brothers and avenged their deaths at the hands of the chief by using his wit to trick the savage to lower himself into an iron pot as a test of strength. However, Pellicander lifted the pot and boiled him alive over their fire.

He became chief and fathered a new generation of Pellastradons as powerful and cunning warriors. When the flight of the Hellecians came, the Archaenids stumbled onto Pellicander's children on Pellastrom-Mar.

Not recognizing their own blood, they sought shelter which the Pellastradons gave them. Treating them like dumb beasts, the Archaenids gave them trade deals that would give away large swaths of their land for beans.

All while neighboring tribes on Pellastrom-Mar and the neighboring moons were encroaching on their lands ever still.

However, the Pellastradons agreed to these terms in exchange for the land a single beam of sunlight falls on. From this spot they built a massive citadel using the technology of the Archaenids.

During the Perxis-Sadem invasion, the Pellastradons allowed the Archaenids and the neighboring tribes to shelter in their citadel. Once the Perxis-Sadem showed up to the citadel, the Pellastradons opened the gates for the enemy.

Once all their enemies were all gathered on this one spot, the Pellastradons locked them all in the citadel. Waiting for the proper alignment of the sun, they used Archaenid technology to reflect the sun's rays and incinerated the citadel in one fell swoop.

Come time for the invasion of Karoj-Menos, an Aeonite merchant came across their colony. Seeing the impressive cities they've built with the now deceased Archaenid technology, he recruited them into the invasion force.

After the invasion, they returned home with the knowledge to create their own navy.

Approached by their Aeonite allies who agreed to become trading partners only after hearing a story: the one where the Apollo's prophet foretold about the supreme ruler of the Hellecian Sector rising from a Pellastradon, how they destroyed the Archaenids and all their enemies without raising a single axe, and how the the god who gave the earlier prophecy and the Archaenids' destruction came from a few opportunists believing they could pull a tricks on a group of dumb beasts.

From that point on, the Pellastradons were close trading partners to the Aeonites. Giving their distant relatives favorable terms in their trade deals. The Aeonites, under some duress, even offered to sponsor the Pellastradons as "honorary Hellecians" or Mixolastians (given their blood relation).

Knowing too well the consequences of cheating the Pellastradons out of what they're owned.

Savage Diplomats:

While most Pellastradons served as bodyguards and hired muscle around the Hellecian Sector. All Macestidons them held absolute loyalty to the High Rexitaur seated on Pellastrom-Mar and vowing to protect the line of princes until the prophecy of supreme leader came true.

However, the galaxy was turned upside down when crowned prince Bi-Hekatom the Curious of Pellastrom-Mar snuck aboard The Pysgorellis, bringing the wrath of his father Baal-Dum the Slaughterer and his people on the unsuspecting crew of explorers.

After clearing up this misunderstanding and giving a few lessons to the prince along their journey, AJM-001 and Ulysses "Ollie" Dylos gave back the prince. One day however, Bi-Hekatom the Curious would change his name to Pellicander the Conquerer (their equivalent of Alexander the Great).
