Lysandrix

Born to King Anaximadrux II of the Eurycurdrux line (the other being the Aegeix line), Lysandrix is the eldest warrior princess of the Lanaxdrian Diarchy during their tactical retreat into the Asteroid Range of the Taygestronese.

Origins:

Zealous for the Lanaxdrian cause (following the legend of the Aegeix princess Lanaxdrite's murder by the evil Delots at the Festival of Shattered Gold), Lysandrix wished to earn glory as one of the her father's glorious Lanaxdrian hoplon infantry all her life.

However, due to the highly-rigid tradition of the Lanaxdrians, she wasn't allowed to join the heavy infantry, due to her role in their society as defender of the homefront.

However, this didn't stop her from trying to become a hoplon. She trains herself excels at one-on-one combat with two-handed weaponry and becomes a skilled markswoman with a Dodrinicaster (Lanaxdrian assault rifle).

But in her quest to become the deadliest warrior, she hardens herself against the ideals of what made the Lanaxdrian heavy infantry so strong: the community.

Because the Oiko-Dynamoi or homefront defends the homefront and governs their territories while on campaign, the phalanx can defeat the enemies of the Diarchy with boldness that allowed their ancestors to defeat Ares & Athena at Karoj-Menos not with martial might but with indomitable fortitude.

Without women like Lysandrix to defend the homefront, the Warrior States would collapse like a cluster without its star (seeing as the other half of the diarchy was ruled by an Aeonite queen).

But Lysandrix doesn't see it that way. And after nearly getting shattered while trying to crack The Lawgiver's Comet by herself (final test hoplons must complete to test the strength of their newly-fitted Pmenonite Armor) King Anaximadrus II has her confined to quarters until she learns the value of community and tradition.

While recovering from her injuries, she intercepted intelligence about a Delot salvage team mining discovering large pockets of Iridium in the asteroids making up the Taygestronese's outer shell.

Wanting to prove herself yet again, she steals a set of Hoplon armor and takes off to destroy the Delots. Unaware her actions could ruin the centuries of planning Lanaxdrian high command.

Hopping through the densely packed asteroids, she lays in wait and destroys the salvage teams no problem. However, one of the scavengers sneaks up and incapacitates Lysandrix. He then drags her inside the hull of a heavily damage ship they recovered, activates the hibernation cycle on her armor & sticks her to an inconspicuous part of the hull as the Osmium adhesive binds her there.

She awakes inside the Ilocanos-7 shipyards after Ulysses "Ollie" Dylos accidentally cuts through her Osmium shell as the events of the pilot play out.

Aboard The Psygorellius:

Frightened by his daughter's disappearance and the implication her discovery will mean for their revenge against the Delothian Collective, the Diarchy hires Atanica: a highly decorated Scale Hunter (or bounty hunter for military deserters) to find and bring Lysandrix home.

They lie and tell Atanica that Lysandrix is an Aeonite deserter with a set of experimental armor alive with all evidence of her exploits purged from any Delot database.

After escaping the Ilocanos-7 shipyards with a half-dead Lysandrix, UHP Rector Dysomus bribes Atanica to trick the king into believing Lysandrix is dead. His reasons being they may need some royal clout among the scattered communities of the Lanaxdrians.

Now freed of her traditional restraints, Lysandrix travels the universe with The Psygonauts. However, she's kept on the ship to keep her from falling into the Collective's probes, keeping her roles as an oarswoman or swabby

But that doesn't stop the impetuous princess from escaping from time-to-time. And it would be Atanica's job (when she wasn't Scale Hunting) to track her down and bring her back to the ship quietly. This would make the two women bitter rivals, more so than they were back on Ilocanos-7.

Once her father discovers she's still alive, the king ambushes The Psygorellius and takes Lysandrix and the crew hostage. It's during her escape and post-humorous disownment that The Psygonauts are considered enemies of the Lanaxdrian Warrior States.

After the invasion, Lysandrix is allowed more freedom on the ship, becomes the small arms clerk for the Psygorellius' armory & even joins them on a few missions. She also learns how to become a true warrior, thanks to Atanica's instruction.

It's only near the end of the war between the Delots & Lanaxdrians that Lysandrix's father tries to make amends. However, the truth he reveals forces Lysandrix to choose between a life of freedom among the stars or a life of servitude as the savior of the Lanaxdrian Warrior States.
