Luiran is the current head of both the Vitane political family and the Vitane biological family, and as a result the representative of both in the Keeping of Keismeb. He is also currently the custodian of the Affenblau Family estate and its assets in the absence of its leadership.
He is known for his stoicism, refusal to take part in political games, and preference for pacifism, kind gestures, and giving the benefit of the doubt, which has led some of his peers to believe him weak or naive. Other slights against his leadership center around him being a marry-in to the family, but since his second wife's death he has managed to garner an otherwise solid reputation as the family head that tends to make accusations to the contrary petty and foolish.
He had two daughters by his late wife, Ichah -- Hynaeno and Intesea -- and prior to them, two sons by his first wife, Nussaola -- Raobon and Degniari. He recently took in a very young son, Enshuum, born out of wedlock.
