I am so glad such condition cab ne survived. But the article is missing on an opportunity to explain how the recovery happens. Will the immune system be enough? Could not healing magic be used to remove the bacteria altogether? Or does it help only against symptoms? Do different races with different immunity suffer for longer? Or perhaps shorter? Is this automatically fatal for some people because their immunity cant handle the bacteria? And I guess my biggest concern is how is water at all drinkable. But I guess because its bacteria, something somewhere in the water normally prey on it?
