Hunger for Knowledge

Written by Endrise

I've been around here for more centuries than you can imagine. I've learned your histories, your tales... They fascinate me.
— Lenosallose

Some Vampires aren't blood-hungry monsters that make common folk tremble in fear, some just seek the eternal life to find knowledge unseen by many. Lenosallose was one of them, a mortal human hellbent on finding the answers to the unknown.

Bloodletting Sight

Lenosallose is a Moroi Vampire, a bearded gentleman with skin as white as the snow of the frozen lands he once possessed. Although his long-lived life took a toll on him, his worn clothes remained luxurious throughout, a symbol of his nobility. Most noticeably by the top hat he wore.

Hellbent on Answers

Lenosallose originally was but a man said to live on Sichelan, with a fascination of everything historical. He sought out the secrets of the world, the knowledge hidden from plain sight, spending his family's fortune to discover it.

However, his limited time on this plane made him delve into the twisted arts to extend his life, leading to his decline towards Vampirism. Although he first only feasted of the lifestock of farmers, his cravings inevitably led to humans falling victim to blood loss to savour his appetite. The only creatures left unharmed seemed to be cats, who Leno refuses to harm at all.

In the end, Lenosallose's hunger for knowledge led to him vanishing in search for more, with no records to show where he went afterwards. Some believe Leno is still out there, hungering for knowledge in his immortal state.

That is a beautiful and twisted (in a good way) tribute. Well done, Endrise. :) These are fun to read.
