Sam Anthony McBride is a Sungish senior engineer and the supervisor of the Candella Corp.'s research department He's very respected among stuffs - an urban legend some may said.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
He look like a humble old man - chubby, bad back, with a pair of cute glasses. He keep the same haircut for decade, a signature his staffs would easily recognized, even though those on his forehead are almost entirely gone.
A few decade ago, it's the opposite. He had the best looking man ever. A straight back, glassy cool mustache, and the attractive pairs of eyes.

Employment
He joined Candella Corp. during the economy crisis decades ago. The company was in the progress of reorganization, so he's assigned to lot of projects, sparsely.
He wasn't expert in multiple skills outside his computer engineering degrees like what his family hoped for, but his clear and precise vision of the future pushed him forward. In fact, he's a leader behind many groundbreaking devices including a next-generation Woz Computer and Minicare, a personal medical instrument.
Despite yet under the leadership of CEO Stanley, he couldn't denied Sam's ability as one of the main reasons that helped the company survived the crisis. If only he's good at communication he would have become a good salesman.
He assigned to the Candella RnD as a supervisor of several projects afterward, to ensure the success and fund lots of small but crucial for the humanity and profits.
Accomplishments & Achievements
The last, or latest, inventions he even managed and delivered, was the Nano Advanced Constructor (NAC for short) A multipurpose nano-machine substance that revolutionized the medical and micro-engineering technology. He heard a rumor of the ambitious blueprints designed by young Dan Robbie and Arthur Douglas, so he hired them and made it real. This eventually formed the Team Liquid solely to develop this magnificent invention up to these days.
Later Life
He stepped down and plan on full retirement, yet still emailed to his apprentices from time to time, or even visit workplace for a small tasks just to keep himself healthy.

Hobbies & Pets
His hobbies beside computer would be gardening and carpentry. With his salary enough to buy a large field of grassland -- which he did, he still lives at a one-stories childhood house, claiming that its size and familiarity could make any renovation a fun challenge. All the guests even come to visit wouldn't even realize the true scale of a perfect safe house.
