Royal Ziggurat of Heka-Sar

The Royal Ziggurat of Heka-Sar is a towering marvel of architecture, standing as a testament to the power and grandeur of Y’Matara. Rising 300 feet above the city, it is crowned with a temple that once honoured the God-King Sekhemtara, Flame of the Holy Sands, but now serves as the seat of Pharaoh Sethet-Ka. Adorned with bronze and obsidian inlays, its walls are etched with hieroglyphs depicting the city’s history. The stairways, lined with crushed lapis lazuli and gold, gleam in the desert sun. In his vanity, Sethet-Ka has begun constructing an additional tier atop the ziggurat for sacrificial rites – an altar overseen by a 15-foot silver statue of his likeness, inlaid with precious gems.
