Consveratory of Beasts and Verdancy
A sprawling institution of the Shemsu-Ra, the Consveratory of Beasts and Verdancy is located within the Scholar Quarter of Y'Matara. It houses rare creatures and arcane flora collected from across the world. Part menagerie, part botanical archive, it is overseen by scholars of the Discipline of Dust.
Each specimen is catalogued by a glyph and stored according to magical containment protocols. Visitors are permitted under strict observation - certain creatures are known to have once been citizens, sentenced to transformation under civic law.
A sign at the Eastern Gate states "All that breathes, bites, or blooms has its place in the order. Know it, name it, and never feed it anything unlicensed."
