Captain Stendar Fenlan (a.k.a. The Rose)

Stendar Fenlan is the captain of the city guard of Ironstar. Called "The Rose" for his sweet exterior yet ruthlessness against criminals, this Aasimar justly and fairly keeps order in the city.
The Formidable Disparates first met the Rose on their second day together, at the Dancing Frog. There, he was confiding in Gella about the ongoing situation in Mig Dural, where Riskell Bellowbrand had just seized power. He noticed them, and, seeing their potential as adventurers, asked them for help with dealing with an entity that had been killing his men in Utren's Way. He also asked them if they could bring a sealed letter to Filkas Smorah at Trinkets & Tronkets.
They accepted both requests, brought the letter (but not before reading it and discovering that it was a love letter), and killed the perpetrator, a ghostly shadow. Stendar, impressed, immediately informed Hevion Carbonhill of their competence and recommended them for the job of gathering information of Riskell Bellowbrand in Mig Dural.
Before they left, he directed them to get help from the Silent Shepherds, and handed them a letter to his sister, Blade, in which he implored her to assist them when it comes to sneaking around the city.
When the Disparates returned, they learned of Stendar's engagement to Filkas Smorah.
