Soil is an enigma. An intelligent satyr in a world where the only satyrs are ravenous beasts, she's naturally isolated from both the Dark Forest and the travelers who find themselves lost in it. All that we do know about her is that she's the daughter of Zephnos, has a particular affinity for moonflowers, and really, really hates her dad.
Physical Description
Body Features
Soil is a satyr with black fur and hair and cow-like horns. One horn is notably shorter than the other, though not due to any breakages.
Facial Features
Soil has a rounded owl-like face with a flat nose and a wide mouth. Her eyes are very large, adding to her owl appearance, and glow in the dark with a luminous pale white radiance, a trait which she shares with her father.
Identifying Characteristics
Soil is easily identified by her distinctive cow horns, which no other satyrs have.
Physical quirks
Despite her roguish personality, Soil is surprisingly graceful. She's completely capable of moving without sound, even while running.
Special abilities
Soil has the ability to control plants like all other satyrs, but seems to specialize in growing moonflowers. It's unknown if she simply enjoys growing them or if this is just easier for her. Whatever her reason, she has also used the toxin present on the moonflower's petals on more than one occasion, proving she is more than capable of taking care of herself.
Apparel & Accessories
She usually wears a leather jerkin and a small satchel made of animal furs. She is very nervous whenever this satchel is misplaced, and won't let anyone near it.

Personal history
Soil, much like her father, was born fully formed. Perpetually stuck at around 18 years of age, she acts exactly as you'd expect: Like a moody teenager. While she frequently stays at the Campgrounds, she'll often disappear for long stretches at a time. No one knows where she goes during this time, though many have their suspicions. Even while she's around, she usually sits apart from the other guests, though she can often be seen talking to Cicero, the God Merchant.
One thing most people have learned NOT to talk about in her presence is Zephnos, and specifically his attacks on the travelers and creatures of the Forest. Her most common reaction is storm out of earshot, but on more than one occasion she's been known to punch to offender. She is also not afraid to use harsh words.

Soil is easily angered. Certain subjects especially earn her ire, such as speaking ill of the gods or talking about Zephnos in any way. She frequently reacts violently to these topics, either by punching the offender, or in some cases inflicting moonflower toxin on them.

History
Bjorn distrusts Soil due to her appearance similarity to her father. Internally, Bjorn knows Soil isn't a bad person, but has a lot of trouble overlooking her mysterious appearance, stated relationship with Zephnos, and her ability to ignore the laws of the Dark Forest.

Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both Soil and Bjorn have a shared interest in keeping the Campgrounds safe. The difference between them is how they go about doing it. Every night, Bjorn sets up traps, and Soil disappears into the Dark Forest. Between them, they stop many of the assaults that occur.
