Sarahnal's Isle (Sah-rah-nals Isle)
Sarahnal's Isle is a moderately-sized Skyfolk settlement in the southwestern region of their world, it is a rather prosperous island situated in a region where resource-heavy rocks regularly rise from the cloud layer below, giving plentiful resources and facilitating significant amounts of local craft and trade with other isles.
Despite the name, Sarahnal's Isle is not a single sky island,it is built upon a cluster of islands of varying altitudes and heights that have, over the years, been anchored together so stable bridges can be built between them. At numerous points in the town's history, other uninhabited islands have been pulled into the cluster, bringing in more land and resources.
Demographics
A vast majority of the settlement's population are Skyfolk, though a number of Lofi and Seafolk have made their home here to find work in the town. There is also a small population of Fae on the close, but independent, island of Sarahnal Overlook, while they often frequent the town, few fae live there, having a distaste for the noise and industry.
The Skyfolk that populate the town are primarily of border southern heritage, notable by their deep reddish brown hair. There is also a wide variety of skin tones present in the population thanks to folk from near by islands, high and low moving there for work.
