Origol Puzzler-Abid Character in The Cradle of Worlds | World Anvil

Origol Puzzler-Abid

An Evanis halfling explorer and archaeologist. He searches the desert for lost cities, tombs and ancient discoveries. His main focus is on the ancient draconic city of Olzeris. It's whereabouts are unknown but he hopes his recent find of the Tomb of the Sand Kings, might lead to the needed discoveries. His current benefactor (Annit the Imperious) is less interested in the draconic city but any possible items pulled from the Tomb. Sadly the chambers currently inspected have been less than profitable.   Most interesting to him is the third great hall within the Tomb. It is designed to focus magical energy, though for what original purpose has not been discovered. Origol has been seeking sages in the field to determine what it is. His funds have been running low and that has made progress slower than he would prefer.   Origol loves animal racing, most specifically camels and dogs. He has set up a track near the Tomb which is located between the tomb itself and the chasm which contains the Painted Sand Caves. His current favorite is his dog Sour Pit, a Sloughi desert bread of dog and quite fast. Origol has recently been trying to train a rare Sand Cabbot to be domesticated.   His other loves are his wife Innistir Crafter-Hisil, and a wildly changing wardrobe. Innistir is luckily a seamstress and maker to fuel his closet. Luckily he is in possession of a large portable closet which allows easy transportation of a significant amount of material. Innistir has lately been fascinated by various leathers, furs and knitted fibers.

Wealth & Financial state

While his closet contains tons of material, he isn't as wealthy as he appears. Generally he has poured his resources into his next discoveries.
