Season 11, Episode 4: "Eclipse the Forge" Report

General Summary

Standing in front of a trio of Eclipse Giant warriors, the Dream Team were quickly threatened by their superior reach and spellcasting, blasted by whirring portals that opened up to fiery hellscapes, a menagerie of grenades, and the rising fear that built in the darkness between the stars.
Sensing her people in danger, Isra was quick to grab hold of the portal mechanisms, wielding them against her enemies by opening them in front of the terrifying breath of a Void Dragon, and later the broadside of Ark Prime. Although the crew took massive hits, it was a relatively riskless victory, with the last giant holding the key to their next step along the Rambling Road.
The party entered into Ark Prime itself, the powers of the Road strong enough to thwart the Sivv starship's defenses, and entered into a brawl between five of the Dominion's warmasters, and a Moon Giant with religious fervor in his eyes. Once defeated, the crew started searching for more of the strange gear carried by this advanced species, while Lockette and Abelina poured through nearby computers.
They discovered that Vheiransch, the leader of the Sivv being controlled by Crow, was sitting in the center of the starship, using the Sivv's quantum technology to swiftly drain power from the Starstone. The Void Dragon seen through Isra's portals was there standing guard, and Abelina detected several other entities in the area, but she couldn't determine their nature.
Lockette also interrupted the Moon Giant's work, which included an active upload of the Dream Team's faces and details about their abilities. In a moment of inspiration, she altered the documents with believable falsehoods, and then scanned further to discover that only 5 minutes remained until Ark Prime's mission would be complete.
Unsure of the future, Isra invoked her abilities as a Shepherd, healing her people and giving them a boost of morale. Then the group gathered their spoils in a rush, stabbing themselves with hypopens and serums as necessary, and dove through the next door.
They arrived in the center of Downlow, where Void Trolls tore apart the citizenry and left their remains stinking in the street. Fighting through the smell, the party did their best to gun down the trolls before they could do anymore damage, aided from afar by Niko Ciro and his keen aim. As the last monster fell, Niko sent a quick voice message to Mist, claiming that they had been shutting down critical battles all across the station, confirming the party's theory about the Rambling Road and points of conflict. He wished them well as the key turned, and then they leapt from the chaos of Absalom Station, into the eerie core of Ark Prime.
Vheiransch turned, Crow's eyes glaring from his skull, his body in a strange state not unlike a Data Ghost, but melded with the quantum technology of the Sivv. Chiding the party, he claimed that it was time for their interference to come to an end, and then the Void Dragon Pazzoedioth appeared from the shadows behind him...
