Cornelius
Cornelius is a Shape Squirrel that once served as Isra's guide on her home planet, and now acts as her humble companion during her adventures. During her arrest Cornelius hid on her person, and accompanied her to the Sauna. He mostly kept to himself while Isra was in prison, as the Barathu did not take kindly to stowaways, but became significantly more adventurous with the freedom of his master.
A corrupted dream from the Dreamlands seems to imply that Corenlius was chosen by Entity and Cromwell to serve as Irsa's companion, but this does not align with her memory of events.
Since the party's first trip to Aballon, Cornelius has shown an incredible appetite, and is increasingly interested in changing his physiology. When asked, Jun Zhao claimed that the Shape Squirrel was entering some kind of evolutionary stage, and that Isra should try feeding him all manner of objects.
When Isra awakened the Mantle of the Shepherd, it was revealed that Cornelius had been selected as her primary Sheep, giving him an enhanced lifespan and further supernatural abilities. In addition, he seems to bear a lesser mantle known as the Mantle of the Twisted Soul, which augments his pre-existing shapeshifting capabilities.
