Penzaro
Penzaro is a small village based around a community of farmers that lies with the Keylands, around half a days travel from the capital city of Keymouth.
Standing next to one of the huge irrigation canals that runs south from the capital, it is famed for its golden corn harvest, and supplies barley to many taverns through-out the Empire.
Rhodry Melwedd grew up in the village, and his mother, Darcie, still lives there.
Barron House
This large house has two floors and a well-tended flower garden. It is the home of Martha Barron, the mother of Atticus Barron.
Church of Pelor
This small church in Penzaro is built from stone, unlike most of the dwellings in the village. The large doors are carved with the image of a sun, its rays flowing out over a pastoral field of wheat. Alston Folkor is the priest here, an old halfling with grey muttonchops, very long eyebrows, and a bald head.
Dreams and Drams
This large tavern on the market square is a welcoming site; a cozy, inviting looking inn. It is run by an elderly widow named Lev.
Mayoral House
This huge stone mansion house is by far the largest in the village. Neatly tended bushes grow around the stone foundations, and high leaded windows look out over the town square. Over the door is a crest depicting a series of hay bales with a long scythe overlaid.
Penzaro Stables
This large stables in the village of Penzaro is nothing more than an open barn and some fields. The fields contain several wild looking horses, and some of the fences have been broken.

The salt mine lies in a small quarry outside the settlement. The salt mine served as a second income to the villagers. The area was once under water and a sedimentation of salt lies under the nearby hills.
