Alston Folkor
Pastor
Alston Folkor is pastor of the village of Penzaro and caretaker of the local Church of Pelor.
Previously an adventurer, he settled here after a plague had decimated most of the community, offering the aid The Shining One of where he could.
He laments the lack of a pious flock nowadays. Only a few ever sit in on his sermons even on a Sunday.
Alston is a bit of an expert on local folklore and legends. He loves fairy stories about brave knights rescuing damsels in distress.
Appearance and Mannerisms
Alston is tall for a halfling at three-and-a-half feet. His most striking fixture are his incredibly long eyebrows, which sit just below his bald pate like a dividing line. They raise and lower alarmingly as he talks. A grey beard and mutton chops complete the pastoral look. He most often wears the pale yellow robes of his church over light leather armour. At his waist sit a weathered mace and a well-thumbed book, a copy of In the Sun Father's Hand; momentos from his adventuring days.
