Wealthy, Wastrels and Collectors

GCT are primarily a 'functional nostalgia firm.' They make armor and weapons that are inspired by older eras, most especially Old Earth. They're the only major manufacturer of gunpowder weapons and ammunition, they make Molecular-Ceramic Blades that are reasonably faithful replicas of ancient weapons, they make armor out of actual steel. Some professionals mock their equipment as 'outdated' or 'form over function,' but not everyone is so dismissive. 

Aristocrats

GCT gear is popular among the aristocrats of Luna, in particular on the dueling scenes and for the aesthetics of their armor. In particular, Chainmail Bikini and Barbarian Loincloth Armors. Professionals who like the big checks and cushy, basically decorative positions but still want some protection (or warmth) will often wear clear bioplas bodysocks beneath the armor, keeping the aesthetic but adding a modicum of actual protection. 

Techno-Barbarians and Seiokakeru Ronin

Far from the spoiled dandies popping off shots at each other, the Techno-Barbarians and the Seiokakeru Ronin both often gladly pay out the higher price for more accurate replicas, then upgrade them with custom mods like the Gugnir self-guidance on their spears or the tatsumaki generator that combines the effects of a MAW and a particle ripper along the blade. Some branches of the Nouveau Palatine also prefer 'traditional' weapons.
