Little Terra

Little Terra is a major city within the Huángjīn Floodplain, serving as the capital of the Aresian Recluse. It is settled deeply within the mirelands, elevated above the water by a series of great canals. Little Terra is the largest Areso-Terstener settlement on Tersten, and has become a home for many Aresian refugees from across the planet, following the collapse of the People's Republic of Lordania, and their subsequent fall from grace.
It is from the Hall of the Great Sword that the President-General and their cabinet rule, with an elevated view of the city. The Hall is visible from all points of the city, designed to be the central landmark from with all navigation is done. It is often the first thing a visitor sees when arriving via boat.
The city was first settled in 27 PC by a mixed Pinasc and Nevokie group. Gradually, the city became home to a sizeable Aresian population, many of whom arrived on the planet during the Great Economic Depression, prior to the founding of the People's Republic of Lordania. Many of these Aresians were not part of the Upper Lordanian class, and the city often struggled under the heavy tribute paid to the Tersten State. During the Great Revolution, the city was seized by the Aresians, who used whatever weapons they could find, including axes, knives, and swords, to storm the City Hall, declaring independence from the People's Republic. The City Hall was later transformed into the Hall of the Great Sword, which symbolises their actions in the Revolution.
