The Great Economic Depression was a period of Lordanian history that affected every single planet in the Lordanian Cluster. Tersten was no exception, as it led to the collapse of the Pinascimate Penal Authority, and the brief Age of Nations, in which many free independent states rose and co-existed with one another.   During this period, Tersten saw a significant increase in immigration, with the population rapidly exploding as many people left their homes and travelled to the planet in search of new prospects and open space. However, the other, far more developed worlds in the Cluster saw unimaginable hardships that led directly to the election of the Unitarian Party in 25 PC.
