Goose

Goose is a border town in the Huángjīn Floodplain, near the border between Big Basin. It is owned by the Aresian Recluse, and serves as the first port of call for any entry into the region, where all visitors upstream are subject to passport and document checks, before either being permitted to travel upstream, or forced to return downstream. It has a strongly funded border guard, and is one of the most secure water-based security checkpoint on Tersten. Despite many calling this a heavy-handed approach, the Recluse has done its best to prevent any diplomatic incidents that would cause problems.
The town itself is relatively minor, with some hotels and bars near the docks for new arrivals that make it past the Recluse's strict security.
