Blue House of Bibisango

The Blue House of Bibisango is the parliament of the Dustbowler Collective, the regional government claiming administrative duties over the Western Sahamptha. The Blue House is the former residence of the Governor-General of the Western Sahamptha, and today remains one of the most important buildings in the region.
The Blue House gets its name from the distinctive blue exterior walls of the large, three story mansion. Modern developments have kept the traditional style, ensuring that new parts of the house look as visually similar to the old house as possible.

History

It was constructed in 19 PC to serve as residence for a powerful family in Bibisango, prior to the founding of the Tersten State.  During the occupation of the People's Republic of Lordania, its previous owners were evicted, and the mansion became home to the Governor-General of the Western Sahamptha, Horatio Paxley.  Paxley was considered to be relatively corrupt, preferring to gamble away his impressive salary, and would frequent many bars owned by people sympathetic to the Tersten Resistance.  He would meet his end during the Great Revolution, when he was shot dead by his own men. Following the end of the Revolution, and the start of the Interregnum, the newly formed Dustbowler Collective seized the Blue House, which had sustained minimal damage during the conflict, and began the process of transforming it into the modern Parliament building, including the expansion of several wings, and the creation of a great debate chamber in the centre of the House.
