Elves
Elves are sentient humanoid creatures that mostly inhabit the Ulf of Mythril. Being the oldest of the four races and the first ones to discover Magicka, they are considered the most powerful civilization before the days of The Crimson Empire.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Elves are bipedal humanoid creatures. In contrary to humans, their bodies are slimmer and pale in color. Their hair color can either be brown, blonde, green or white, their eyes can be green, blue, yellow, black or white. Their faces are defined by pointy ears, a pointy nose, a pointy chin, and a sharp jawline. Elves are generally extremely agile and able to move swiftly, able to outmaneuver any potential foes.
Genetics and Reproduction
Elves are mammals, so they reproduce similar to the other races. A pregnant Elf carries her offspring for 7 months before giving birth.
Growth Rate & Stages
With a lifespan of 300 years, Elves have the longest lifespan out of all of the other races. When reaching the age of 20, they are considered mature and at this point, their aging process somewhat halts until they are 200 years old, where they spend their final years slowly deteriorating.
Ecology and Habitats
Elves thrive in lush natural environments, such as their home country, the Ulf of Mythril. Through their affinity with Magicka, they also have a strong bond with the surrounding nature.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Elves are omnivorous, but having a preference for herbs, fruits, and flowers.
Biological Cycle
Since Elves have such a strong bond with nature, they are in their prime form during spring and summer, whilst being somewhat weakened during fall and winter.

Social Structure
Elven society is ruled by an elder council seating in the city of Lilith. The society as a whole is split up into the warrior, worker, and religious/scientific castes. The warrior caste is made up of the Elven military and the well respected Rangers, of which Jacub Everton and Iqo are notable members. The worker caste is made up of all Elves that are merchants, farmers, hunters and any other professions that support the Elven civilization. Lastly, the religious or scientific caste practices rituals and experiments to further their understanding of Magicka and the deities that they follow.
Facial characteristics
Elves are defined by their pointy ears, nose and chin and sharp jawline. Their hair can be brown, blond, green or white and their eyes can be green, blue, yellow, black or white. They have thin red lips and are unable to grow facial hair.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
The majority of Elves inhabit the Ulf of Mythril, but in their past, they used to live in all of Terratos. Right now, only a few Elves live outside of the Ulf of Mythril.
Average Intelligence
Due to their history and high affinity to Magicka, Elves are considered to be the most intelligent species on the continent, devoting most of their lives reaching a better understanding of the laws and forces of Magicka.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Out of all the races that inhabit Terratos, Elves have the strongest affinity towards Magicka. Every single Elf is capable of wielding Magicka in some capacity. Their sense of hearing is also enhanced, being able to detect any lifeform within a large radius by triangulating their location.

Gender Ideals
It is commonly seen that most female Elves are part of the religious and scientific caste as the most male Elves are from the worker and warrior castes.
Relationship Ideals
Relationships within Elven society are significantly different from the other civilizations' ideals. Because of their high lifespans, Elves have little priority to reproduce, since that would only lead to overpopulation. Therefore, when finding a partner, Elves look for a partner with whom they have a strong mutual bond, disregarding gender, social status and wealth.

Since Elves rely heavily on their affinity with Magicka and nature, they have very little technological development.

Elven society is built on mutual respect, but people that have a higher affinity towards Magicka and nature are considered to be having a higher status and are therefore expected to be treated with more respect.
Common Dress Code
When on the job, all castes have their own distinct dress codes in order to tell them apart, but in their free time, most Elves just wear casual clothing.
History
During the first era, when Dragons used to roam across Terratos, ancient Elves discovered Magicka and learned to wield it, using their powers against the Dragons. After successfully driving the Dragons to extinction, the Elves entered a golden age in which they ruled the entirety of Terratos. After nearly three millennia of the Elves ruling Terratos, the Humans of Ethonia took up arms against their Elven oppressors, starting the Human-Elf War which lead to the decline of the Elven Empire, especially as the other civilizations soon joined in. After losing The Citadel during the Battle of the Citadel, the Elves were driven away to the Ulf of Mythril where they remain in isolation to this day.

Elves are tolerant towards Dwarves and Ashens, holding no grudge against their uprisings, but they are very wary of humans because of the recent actions of The Crimson Empire.
