Viceroy

This is the title of the governor of an Imperial province of Duskh. The position of viceroy is either selected by the natives of the province and then approved by the Emperor of Duskh, or in the case of colonies lacking a lawmaking body, chosen by the Emperor of Duskh.

Provide for the security and prosperity of the province.

Responsibilities

Appoint a Senator to represent the Province, command local defenses, levy taxes, enforce laws.

Keep a portion of taxes collected, privilege.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Loss of imperial approval, replacement under local laws for their own leadership.
