Senator

Senators represent the voice of the people, and make up the body of the Senate. They are responsibles for establishing laws of the Empire that apply across all provinces, as well as for choosing a new Emperor. They also have the ability to impeach an Emperor, thus removing them from office, although this power is exercised only in the most dire of circumstances, since it also requires the cooperation of the military in order to enforce the impeachment.   Senators elect a Senate Leader to direct the flow of bills and law proposals. They have the same responsibilities as any Senator as well. Senate Leaders have a great deal of political power since they can decide not to present some proposals for a vote on the floor of the Senate.
