Age of Glory

The Age of Glory marks the rise of the Imorean Empire, the first great civilization to span continents that still has significant preserved records. It was an age of unity, scholarship, and expansion, when the world was mapped, and trade flowed from ocean to ocean. The Imoreans raised roads across deserts, forged cities into mountaintops, and created much of the structures and laws in use today.

The Imperial Celestiarchivum was founded, arcane academies flourished, temples codified doctrine, and the first world-spanning markets were born. The Church of Holy Law traces its roots to this age—initially a minor faith, it grew alongside the Imperial Solar Cult until the two became nearly inseparable. Magic was standardized, history recorded, and the stars charted.

Yet even in its brilliance, shadows gathered. The Imoreans dug too deep, reached too high, and built their wonders atop fragile graves of the past. No one knows what precisely happened, but someone... some thing, cause the Rupture that would end the empire, scar the sky, and begin the Age of Woe.
