Church of Holy Law

The dominant religious authority in Tenebria, upholding the belief that the Law is eternal, unchanging, and absolute. It teaches that all order, hierarchy, and judgment flow from the divine foundation of Law itself, and that to question it is to invite ruin. The Church’s authority extends beyond faith, serving as both spiritual and judicial power, enforcing doctrine through its clergy, inquisitors, and sanctioned knightly orders.

The Church maintains vast cathedrals, monasteries, and fortified abbeys, where scholars and priests preserve sacred texts, interpret the Law, and root out heresy. The Iron Precept, an arm of the Church dedicated to purging corruption and falsehood, operates across the land, ensuring that deviance does not take root.

While most see the Church as the unshakable foundation of civilization, there are whispers of doctrinal conflicts, secret archives, and questions that no priest will answer.
