Cosmic Wound

A festering scar upon the heavens, the Cosmic Wound is a shifting, gas-like mass that lingers among the stars, one consistent shape. It is said to have first appeared during the Rupture, when the heavens turned against Tenebria and the Age of Woe. Though it remains distant, its presence is felt in omen and misfortune.

On ominous nights, the Wound flares, casting an eerie glow across the land. Wards fail, the sick worsen, and strange phenomena stir in forgotten places. Some believe those born beneath its light carry its mark, fated for lives of great consequence or great calamity.

Though the Church of Holy Law dismisses it as mere celestial aberration, scholars and mystics whisper that the Wound is not merely seen, it watches in return.
