Acolyte

An Acolyte is the lowest ordained rank within the Church of Holy Law, a novice undergoing training in ritual practice, scripture, and legal doctrine. Most acolytes serve under a Lawbearer or Prior, assisting in ceremonies, copying sacred texts, and tending to the needs of the faithful.

Their duties are humble—lighting candles, preparing rites, and observing judgments—but their path is sacred. Acolyte are expected to show discipline, silence, and unwavering devotion, for only through obedience can they rise to carry the weight of the law. Many spend years in study and service before being considered for full ordination.
