Lawbearer

A Lawbearer is an ordained priest of the Church of Holy Law, responsible for guiding the faithful, interpreting doctrine, and upholding divine order in daily life. Found in cities, towns, and remote villages alike, Lawbearers conduct rituals, bless oaths, deliver sermons, and mediate disputes—acting as both spiritual guide and moral arbiter.

Though below Priors and Archprior in rank, Lawbearers are the visible face of the Church, entrusted with the souls of the common folk. They are trained in both theology and basic legal judgment, and their word carries binding authority within their domain. Most wear the iron-bound book of law as a symbol of their office.
