World Ember Aftercare/New Year Resolutions
Homework
"A Guardian's Heart"...I love this whole concept. I really like the layout of this article as well. I need to work on my layouts...an artist I am not!
"Meissner Bug"...This is a great concept. Believable engineering in sci fi or fantasy is a real art form.
"Wreckage at the Carriage yard"...A one shot that I think would actually work as a one-shot lol. Some amusing points to it, too, which really helps accentuate a good game imho.
"Book of Chronology"...Mochimanoban does it again! God I love the layouts on their pages.
"Chronometronome"...Intriguing name, right off the bat, and a pretty darn original concept. Really well written, too.
"Moo-stery at Clover Hunt"...Make Lore Not War pumps these out regularly, and they're all amazing. I really need to start leaving comments more at articles I like.
"Wobbler Engine"...This reminds me of my Gnelson Engine, in that they are both just steam engines...but the way the Wobbler Engine is changing the world is very interesting to me from a social standpoint.
"Talitha Harbor - In Full"...This is a layout for a novel, or a series, and it gives me ideas as to how to do my own someday.
"Baron of the Canton"...This article is amazing. It's packed full of information that makes you want to know more. This Corvyn Seinrill person seems interesting!
"The Lesser Evil Firm"...I freaking love this! It brings back Robert Lynn Aspirin from ages ago, but has a totally original twist to it
Resolutions
- I want to keep perusing different things I can do with css, even though actually learning the language seems to be out of my ken. But I can copy/paste with the best of 'em...
- I want to keep working on the craft of worldbuilding and writing. I know we are our own worst critics, but I sometimes feel like a child amongst icons.
- I want to keep working on the layout of the home page.
- I want to keep perusing other worlds that do so well on the socials. I would really love to take Tellus to the level where other people want to run games in the setting. I have players writing fiction in Tellus right now, and that still blows my mind!
Thank you so much for including my little adventure in your list! I wish you a great and creative new year! Also, if that can give you any kind of motivation, if I could learn a thing or two about CSS you most certainly can do it too!
