Fishhook Islet
A small islet at the southern point of the city of Stilton Head. Many of the local fisherfolk live here.
Purpose / Function
An ancient trading town, Stilton-Head has grown to encompass the entire Whitten Delta. It is a grouping of islets and sandbars made up of the rich, silty soil of the delta. Each has its own unique personality profile, and semi-sarcastic traditions aiming good-natured ribbing at its neighbors. It is the gateway to the frontier...the interior of Pax has been reclaimed by the primeval forest that had always surrounded the human settlements way-back-when.
Architecture
Built of strong wooden shacks and homes, nothing is over two stories; three stories and the building will tip over when the floods come.
History
Seemingly the forever-trade-town, Stilton-Head has grown from a simple campsite trade meet.
Tourism
People come here looking for the adventure of their lifetimes. The forest is ancient, storied, and well mapped. Many folks come here as a pilgrimage into the primeval forests.
