The son of the great explorer, Lord Cedric Kandar II (now a honorary noble in Citystate of Yaty, begins an expedition in Drythe with the goal to sail south and then east, around Azermathia. He believes his ship can sail all the way to the Merdenkal Peninsula and open a trade route with the Elanthai Council via the sea and give the sea-faring city-states a share of the Blacksteel trade.
