Cedric Kandar II
Explorer
How does the son of a famous explorer - one who discovered and mapped a new sub-continent - eclipse his father? By attempting to to sail from Drythe to Nosferius, of course. In what most thought was a mad attempt at fame, Lord Cedric Kandar II attempted just that. While the attempt cost him his life, and the Blacksteel trade he envisioned never really materialized, his maps and journal entries describing the coasts and seas of southern Tarien fundamentally changed the way scholars and geographers alike looked at the continent. To this date, few have sailed the seas and saw the sights that he and his crew saw in the mid-Sixth century.
