Khardin collapses and then explodes as the Kharlbhak release natural gases into the main parts of the city. Over 20,000 Orks and Soulmeliti die in the blast. The Khadra, having fled safely to beneath the Rheuthengage Mountains, have a week of silence for those who died destroying their homes and sealing all passages beneath the Gulf of Kharl. They begin to construct a new city, this time with few exits to the surface.
