Silver River
One of the longest rivers in Tarien, the Soulmeliti say that it gets is distinctive color, for which it was named, from the silvery blood of Tyloma. In truth, the waters are more grayish than silver, and some scholars believe this to be a function of the sediment carried down from its source in the Frosted Mountains. Nevertheless, the Soulmeliti treat its waters, at least those north of Naz'Asketon, as holy.
Spring Along the Silver River in the Soulmeliti Forests
Once it leaves the Soulmeliti Forests it travels through the Darien Plain and then into the Carboth Desert where it provides the sole source of water for all of the Dharja. Unlike the Pontrien River which runs dry in the hot summer months, the Silver river always flows, a fact that the Soulmeliti say lends credence to its divine origins.
