  • Wert ritually casts augury

      • Unhappy vibe
      • Almost like an irrelevant question
      • Asked about a spell that would tell what happened in the future
      • Basically blew it
  • Ishta looks for libraries
    • No public ones
  • Looks for maps
    • Researching tower
    • Goes to the Elynthi consulate
      • Enters!
    • Its small
    • Greets the desk keeper
    • Looking for someone from homeland
    • Asks for a request for a meeting from pettishy shelqui (sp)
    • Offers to take a message and have it delivered
    • And then she leaves!
  • Wert tries to figure out their ring
    • Does some testing…
      • Weird fuzzy feeling
      • Has some luck with it
    • Praises Anderi
  • Ishta goes shopping for fortune telling books and some tarot cards
    • Finds someone to paint them
    • Its too expensive (40g)
    • Ishta argues
    • Gets recommended to go to somewhere better
  • Someone tries to rob them…
  • Ishta grapples them and threatens them
    • Says they need to pay a tax
    • Says he will put a needle through the hand
    • Thief runs off
    • Heads back to the theater
  • Farkhom is getting smash happy/antsy
    • Farkhom has broken several things

  • Working on the grand finale

    • Stage fighting
    • Serene stage fighting stabs the Princess
    • Princess rolls behind the set
    • There is a thud
  • Fizzywit looks for the princess and she is not there…
    • Pair of large black boots on the ground under the drapes
    • Backdoor is ajar
  • Matheo
  • We are looking for them its busy
  • Fizzywit mage armors themselves
  • Ishta’s familiar finds some guys with a carpet rolled up
  • We take off with haste
  • 4 dudes with similar clothing
    • And little hats
    • Wert thinks its a religious group
  • They run away
    • We pursue
    • Wert and Farkhom and Ishta book after them
  • We all continue pursuing they turn off the main road
    • They yell help help I am being chased guards
  • We pursue more
  • Ishta disguises themselves like a guard and yells they are coming
    • Ishta says to stop and we will defend them
  • A clothesline goes over Farkhoms head
  • Fizzywit ducks the clothesline Wert dodges the clothesline as well
  • Ally is:
    • 50 feet and ends in a T intersection
    • They went right
  • Wert looks for a bridge or some kind of chokepoint
  • Pursuit continues
  • Stepping in front of Fizzywit and Wert 7 or 8 guys from the aldorian navy
    • Having a brawl
    • Fizzywit disengages and goes through the melee
    • Wert loudly prays and attempts to intimidate the sailor party!
      • It works they keep pace
    • Ishta says we are stuck in the Seaman in the alley… Le sigh
  • The pursuit continues!!!
  • We run into a group of porters that also has a carpet
    • … They are Indiana Jones’ing us!!!!
    • Wert goes after Farkhom and Fizzywit goes after Ishta
  • Technically catching up!
  • More pursuit
  • Ishta makes a fake Nerrid pop out to freak them out with a minor illusion
    • 1 runs through and there is complete panic
    • Ishta catches them
    • Fizzywit it coming up to them
  • Wert gets tired from the chase
  • Ishta… (appearing as a guard) says they will protect this carpet!
    • Tells them not to move
    • Carpet is moving
    • Says carpet is unruly also must stay here
  • Fizzywit stabs a porter who runs at him
    • They collapse and there is blood coming from the leg
  • Wert and Farkhom has a carpet tossed at them
    • Mostly Farkhom
    • There is no Princess in that carpet
  • Farkhom continues pursuit
  • Wert sees a nice rolled carpet
  • They all scatter Farkhom chases the weakest link
    • He grabs a porter
    • The porter goes down hard and is unconscious
  • Wert looks around and sees kids near his carpet and he heads back towards the carpet
    • Terrifies the kids and they scatter
  • Ishta sees 4 members of the city watch
    • Fizzywit sees people applauding them!
    • Ishta hides and drops the disguise
  • Fizzywit is accosted by the guards
  • Guards try to manacle Fizzywit
  • Farkhom gets accosted by random people
    • Tries to intimidate them (Success)
    • They don't want no trouble
    • They chill out
    • Farkhom is tying up the unconscious person
  • Princess agrees that I am a part of the team now
  • Princess asks for the guards to let Fizzywit go
  • Wert and Farkhom bump into each other and Wert helps with the capet
  • Matheo is shocked about the carpet
    • They are less happy
    • Lysa is thrilled though
  • Ishta tells Fizzywit how to not kill people
    • Fizzywit has no problems with the results
  • Princess kicks the unconscious man angrily
    • Tells ‘Jethric’ aka Fizzywit to help
    • The manacles entirely disappear
  • Matheo is annoyed and takes it from the top of Act 3

  • Wert makes a beautiful practice dummy for Farkhom
  • Unconscious guy wakes up
  • Asks why they were sent to capture the princess
    • He has no idea
  • Wert preaches to him…
    • Its awful for him
    • Dock worker
  • Farkhom threatens death
    • Says the old guy is crazy (Wert)
    • Arlin said be here with the carpet
  • Farkhom thinks we should pay Arlin a visit
  • We tell him that the ratcatchers guild will be looking for Arlen

  • Opening night!!!
  • Fizzywit knows all their lines and opening songs!
  • Princess is coming with a royal contingent and her parents
  • All decorated lights full house
  • Duke and Duchess
    • Show up and the princess is not their yet
  • Matheo is panicking and tells Lysa to get in costume
  • Wert is going to chat with the Duke and Duchess about the quality of their work
    • Tells the guards that they wanted to have the
    • Tells the duke that they would look for the daughter
    • Duke says ran off with their paramour
  • Fizzywit needs to stall
  • First scene doesn't involve Fizzywit
  • The rest of the group heads to help
  • The group heads out and they hunt the princess
    • There is a hole in the bridge and everything is piled up
    • Its chaos
    • Wert tries to lead the team up to the hole
    • Guard lets them through
    • Big hole, disappears into the mist
    • Ishta yells that everybody should move
    • Alphonse and the princess
      • Princess can't make it but is looking like they think
  • Fizzywit is now doing an improve song/sword fight on stage
  • The rest of the team debates on how to get people across the bridge
    • Wert investigates a way across and moves people out of the way with the princess
  • Wert praises some stuff
  • Princess and party head back to the stage
  • Princess goes out on stage and goes for it
  • Fizzywit continues acting!
    • Using every skill and talent they have… borderline desperate
  • The party secures the door with manacles
  • Wert checks everything for sabotage
  • Fizzywit barely makes it up the doom stairs
    • Using every trick they have
  • Ishta sees someone disappearing to the outside as they came to the back stage
    • Follow them out
    • And they see a small clocked figure running off
    • There is an open grate and some dark green cloth
    • Follows the person to the sewers
    • Cape looks familiar
    • No idea where the person went
    • Farkhom joins and has no idea either
    • They don't see them so they head back to the theater
  • Show finishes
    • Standing ovation!!!
    • Success!!!
    • Princess does well!!!
    • No one seems unhappy
  • Duke and Duchess seem proud
  • The theater clears out and it's a sweet party time!!!
  • Duchess is at the party with the guards
  • Wert says hi to the highness
    • She is cagey
    • And unexpectedly proud
    • Asks Wert to refrain from talking and there may be additional work
    • Continue our role as bodyguards
    • Wert is super great at talking
  • Everyone sans Fizzywit are talking about the plan
  • They are talking about the plan
  • Alphonse is motioning the princess out the door
    • She is not thrilled
    • She is double fisting wine now
  • Duchess is heading out the door
    • With a tall man
  • Ishta says Alphonse is probably okay right now cause the Duchess is getting familiar with the nobility
  • Princess is back at the bar
  • The count and the duchess have both left it seems
  • Farkhom and Wert think its a pleasant evening
  • We see a tall smashed man come through the alley
    • Its Alphonse
    • Alphone has a giant welt on his head
    • He has been knocked out…. Again
  • Out the door in the alley bleeding is the Count
  • Dagger in his abdomen
  • Wert heals the Count
    • Says they were small snively like Goblin but wizards
    • Says they went that a way
  • A scroll is hanging at the end of the Alley
    • Petty mortals do not pursue the princess is in my talons Instructions to follow
  • Ishta goes to the count
    • Says that they were here to guard the daughter
    • Goes to Alphonse
  • Ishta demands payment for work.
  • Alphonse thinks Lord Valmyr means flame in Soulmeliti
  • Reptilian talon on that dagger
