Lionguard Lieutenant
A third generation member of the Lionguard, Alphonse's grandfather first left the Orkish Hills over a half-century ago, leaving Alphonse with little that connects him to his homeland. Considering himself pure Eldorian the generational assimilation of his family into the culture represents to some the purest form of Imperial dominance. Others, however, see the rise of foreigners like Alphonse as a threat to the Eldorian way of life and though he has often found such prejudices blocking his advancement, the Ork has always met such challenges with huis armor polished, hair oiled, and wry smile.
Fortunately many of his superiors in the Lionguard have looked past his heritage, focusing instead on his talent with a blade and deft ability to remain unobtrusive yet vigilant at court. Those that engage him in conversation find Alphonse well spoken and he has learned over the years to keep his voice a soft basso to disarm both the first impressions of courtiers and ladies in the local taverns. His father and mother ensured that Alphonse received a classic Eldorian education and his love of literature and the theater has made him a favorite personal guard of Pricness Carolina on her many excursions to the Market Table.
