River of Darkness
One of three rivers that empty into the northeastern shores of the Sea of Storms, flooding the low-lying land and creating the Swamps of Malar. Traditionally, it marks the border between Mennith and Katzpütch, though Mennithite solders have frequently crossed it in pursuit of Justice. The waters of the river are unnaturally dark, especially as they tumble out of the Rheuthengage Mountains, almost as if colored by some charcoal-like mineral deposit.
