Malraise Family

The Malraise family settled along Transythe Bay hundreds of years before Eldorian warriors arrived to claim the lands for what would soon become their empire. Like all who lived far from the civilization developing on Eldoria, they worked the land as farmers, the forests as hunters, and the seas as fishermen. Over the generations, they built up their family wealth through foresight, luck, and what many would call miserly tendencies. They owned the largest farm, complete with a two story "mansion" in the largest village along the bay. This wealth, while paltry by the standards of the island, enabled them to negotiate marriage between one of their three daughters to Warlord Kern d'Uthar, effectively joining the villages to Eldoria and subsuming the family into the d'Utharsy.
