Transythe Bay
Thick with ships - both trolling on the surface and wrecks below it, the bay brings the tumultuous waters of the Sea of Storms into the northern prong of south Prydith. Shallow and rocky, the sailing the bay is treacherous and few captains will attempt without bright sunshine to see its shoals. None are foolish enough to sail into the bay, preferring instead to rely on their oarsmen. Still, the lure of Drythe, one of Tarien's largest cities is great and seasoned captains know which lanes to take between the underwater rocks.
Like the river that bears its name, the bay is befouled by humanity, making fishing a worthless proposition. The waste and shallow rocks do, however, provide an excellent habitat for clam and oysters, both of which are pulled from the sea in winter months to fill the tables of homes and taverns alike.
